RESOLUTIONS PASSES DURING 5TH CECM HELD AT NAGPUR ON 24/25TH MARCH 2018

  • 5th Central Executive Committee meeting of All India Station Masters Association was held at Nagpur on 24th & 25th March, 2018. During the meeting following resolutions were passed.
  • 1.       Complete and proper digitalisation of all stations over IR and ensuring no delay in conveying information with regard to various aspects of railway working from top level to stations and vice versa.
  •  2.       Posting of supervisory Station Managers/ Station Superintendents at all stations for better efficiency and flawless supervision of overall functioning and activities of the stations.

  • 3.       Posting of Station directors / Gazetted Station managers at all A-1 and A class stations from the traffic department.

  • 4.       Posting of additional Station Masters at stations with heavy traffic / work load in view of safety in train operations, in tune with the orders of the Rly board issued in the year 2002.

  • 5.       Accumulation of earned leave beyond 300 days to be permitted for open line staff who are unable to avail leave due to exigency of operations.

  • 6.       Extending the benefit of Grade Pay of 5400/- to Stations Masters under MACP scheme.

  • 7.       Periodical transfer policy to be implemented in true spirit without violation and show of favouritism.

  • 8.       Implementation of two night duty roster without continuous night duties and elimination of seven night duty roster in all the divisions of IR.


  • 9.       Utilising the services of Station masters in other capacities and in non- sanctioned posts in various offices should be stopped as already directed by the Chairman, Rly Board.

  • 10.   Amendment to Para 122 of IREM, regarding promotion to Station Masters.

  • 11.   Lady Station Masters and lady staff should  not  be  posted  at way side and inconvenient stations [not having basic facilities and conveyance.
  •  12.                          Organisational matters:

  • a)    CSF is authorised to release Rs. 5,50,0000/- (Rupee Fifty five lakh only ) towards  purchase of  AISMA  Office  at  NZM, NEW DELHI. Payment   shall be released at the time of registration of the property in the name of  AISMA.

  • b)   One  additional  member  from  Northern  Railway  shall  be  included  in  the committee for AISMA Office Building as per the AISMA constitution provisions [article 22A] – this member shall be nominated by the ZEC of NR and notified to the CEC.

  • c)    SBI, Virar branch Account N0.35591916520, meant for remittance of development fund coupons collections shall be closed and amount in credit to be transferred to ALL INDIA STATION MASTER'S ASSOCIATION, Account No. 1226718916. IFSC CBINO28318, operated in Central Bank of India, Janpath branch, New Delhi.

  • d)   For smart remittances towards various accounts, feasibility of launching of a mobile application may be considered.
